Permanent Commission (PC)

1. General Duty Pilot (GD-P)

• Age: 16–22 years (as of 15 Oct 2026)
• Gender: Male
• Marital Status: Unmarried
• Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (163 cm)
• Vision: 6/6 (without glasses)
• Eligibility:
  • Minimum 65% marks in FSc (Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical / Computer Science)
  • ‘A’ Level (Physics, Maths, Computer Science / Biology)
  • ICS with Physics & Maths
  • Engineering degrees (BE/BS in relevant disciplines) also eligible
• Training Duration: 4 years
• Degree Awarded: BS in Aviation Management / BE in Aerospace or Avionics (from CAE)

2. Aeronautical Engineering Course

• Age: 16–22 years
• Qualification: FSc / A-Level with Physics, Maths, Chemistry/Computer Studies
• Training: 4 years
• Degree: BE in Aerospace / Avionics

3. Air Defence Course

• Age: 16–22 years
• Qualification: FSc / A-Level (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, ICS)
• Training: 4 years
• Degree: BS in Aviation Management

4. Admin & Special Duties (36 AD & SD)

• Age: 16–22 years
• Qualification: FSc / A-Level (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Computer Science)
• Training: 4 years
• Degree: BS in Aviation Management

5. Logistics Course

• Age: 16–22 years
• Qualification: FSc / A-Level (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, ICS)

• Age: 20–26 years
• Qualification: BE/BS (Engineering equivalent)
• Training Period: 24 weeks

• Required Subjects:

  • English / Literature / Linguistics
  • Statistics (MS / MPhil)
• Training: 24 weeks

• Final Medical at CMB Lahore
• Flying Aptitude Test (GD-P only)

Ineligibility Conditions

• Rejected twice by ISSB
• Dismissed from government service or armed forces
• Convicted by a court of law
• Previously withdrawn from armed forces training institutions
• Concealment of facts or false information
