Eligibility Criteria for STI Jobs 2025
The program is inclusive, welcoming applications from men, women, and transgender candidates. The eligibility criteria are structured as follows:
- For High & Higher Secondary Level:
- Candidates must possess an M.A/MSc/BS Honors in a relevant subject.
- Age limit: 21 to 45 years.
- Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply, although those with teaching experience will be given preference.
- For Elementary Level:
- Qualifications required include M.A/MSc/BS Honors or B.A/B.Sc.
- The age and experience criteria are the same as for the higher levels.
- For Primary Level:
- A minimum of B.A/B.Sc is required.
- Similar age and experience prerequisites as other levels.
STI Jobs 2025 Application and Hiring Process
Temporary Local Hiring

Selection Procedure
The selection process includes several key steps:
- Need Assessment: Conducted by the Principal or Head of the school to determine the necessity for hiring interns.
- Advertisement: Vacancies are publicly advertised through various media to ensure transparency.
- Application Submission: Applications are submitted online, ensuring a streamlined and accessible process.
- Scrutiny and Merit List: Applications and academic credentials are thoroughly scrutinized to rank candidates fairly based on merit.
Key Features of the Internship
- Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews, with all details provided well in advance.
- Merit List: A merit list of successful candidates will be displayed online and on school notice boards to maintain clear communication.
- Issuance of Hiring Letter: Selected candidates will receive their hiring letters within three days from the finalization of the merit list.
Terms of STI Internship Program 2025
Interns will be engaged for up to nine months, excluding summer vacations. The internship does not confer any permanent position, ensuring that it remains strictly temporary and non-transferable. Interns will receive a monthly stipend based on the school level they are assigned to. Salary of STIs will be given by education level.
- Primary Level: Rs. 38,000
- Elementary Level: Rs. 40,000
- High & Higher Secondary Level: Rs. 45,000
