Eligibility Criteria To Join Pakistan Army as AFNS 2025
To qualify for the AFNS BSc Nursing program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Gender:
Female unmarried (widow/separated allowed)
Nationality:
Pakistani or domicile holder of Azad Kashmir / Gilgit Baltistan
Age:
17–25 years as of December 31, 2025
Education:
- Matric (Science) with minimum 60% marks
- FSc (Pre‑Medical) with minimum 50% marks (or equivalent hope certificate)
Physical Standards:
Minimum height ~5'2″ (157.5 cm), BMI within normal range
Ineligibility:
Those previously rejected twice by GHQ board, declared unfit by appeal medical board, dismissed from any government service, or already registered with Pakistan Nursing Council cannot apply.

- Appear for a computerized preliminary test (general knowledge, English, basic science).
- Undergo initial medical examination at AS&RC.
- If shortlisted, appear before GHQ Selection Board for interview and psychological screening.
- Final selection is made by GHQ based on overall test, medical, and interview performance.
