Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
Member of a recognized professional body (CA, CPA, ACCA, ACMA, MBA Finance) from a local or international HEC-recognized institute.
- Professional Experience:
At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in senior management roles, preferably in audit, risk management, or financial reliability in public/private sectors.
Remuneration & Tenure:
- Market-based competitive salary on a lump sum basis.
- Contract term: Initially 3 years, extendable based on performance with a 6-month probation period.
- The role will not be regularized and holds no pension benefits.
Age Limit:
Maximum age: 57 years (as of the closing date).
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluation of accounting, financial, and operational activities as an independent appraiser.
- Review of financial and operational controls for soundness and effectiveness.
- Implementation of internal audit programs covering all financial transactions.
- Preparing reports and recommendations based on audit findings.
- Leading a competent audit team and ensuring special investigations as needed.
- Liaising with external auditors and ensuring implementation of Board policies.
Required Skills:
- Ability to provide leadership and build a high-performing audit team.
- Expertise in financial, legal, and regulatory schemes to improve compliance.
- Deep understanding of audit procedures, risk management, and internal controls in public/private sectors.
